LEONARDO RANUCCI
(Brescia, 1964) Jewellery and luxury items designer.
He grew up in Vicenza (Andrea Palladio’s city -Italy), a region where the jewellery industry knows a period of fast and continuous development.
His artistic education helped him develop a vivid imagination which has become a key element present in all his artistic productions.
In 1989, he meets Marco Vinicio Cenzi and together they found Cenzi Ranucci Design, starting a passionate collaboration which let them work with some of the most prestigious Italian jewellery companies (Bulgari, la Nouvelle Bague with the extraordinary Leopoldo Poli, Calgaro, Roberto Coin…) as well as with major fashion brands such as Diesel with Renzo Rosso (first silver jewellery collections), Just Cavalli with Eva Cavalli, Gianfranco Ferrè and the incomparable Wicky Hassan with Miss Sixty.
In those years, he starts a personal journey which pushes him to travel all around the world to look for new sources of inspirations and unique experiences which shine through many of his creations. Passionate for different cultures, arts, he has always been surrounded by the beauty and the incomparable glorious Italian artistic heritage. He is also a big books collector.
In 2000, he launches Devotion, a collection focused on trendy and innovative jewellery silver Collection for men. A few years later, he starts to collaborating with the prestigious brand Venini /Murano, creating over the years many glass artworks. Opening the doors to a series of new collaborations outside of jewellery, in fields ranging from eyewear to leather accessory and from writing instruments to watches.
In 2008, after opening a studio in Paris, he starts collaborating with the LVMH group, becoming the major designer of the Fred brand. He successfully upgrades the classic “Force 10″, “8°0”,“Pain de Sucre” , “Kate Moss” “Baie des Anges”, “Belle Rives”, etc. and creates extraordinary pieces for an exclusive private clientele. In 2014, he starts collaborating with Christofle /Paris, creating the most iconic silver jewellery collections. In 2015 with Giorgio Bulgari, he creates two stunning collections for Marina B /New York. In 2018, he works for the Damas group in Dubai for an iconic new collection; and always in 2018, he celebrates with Albert Muraro owner of Baraka’ (the leading Italian men jewellery brand) 18 years of uninterrupted and successful design cooperation.
